These events are for troops and families. Adults are required to accompany girls. Refer to the Safety Activity Checkpoints to find the minimum adult to youth ratio. Juliettes are welcome with an accompanying adult.

The name jamboree is derived from the Swahili word jambo meaning hello. You'll have the opportunity to say hello to all of your Girl Scout friends and learn about amazing women who changed the world at this larger than life event!
Practice your skills at target sports like Annie Oakley, paint like Frida Kahlo, investigate nature like Jane Goodall, swim like Enith Brigitha, enjoy fire building, boating, the climbing wall, tie dye, and so much more! This event is one you won't want to miss! Meals provided: Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday continental breakfast.

Kick up your heels for a western weekend with you special gal. Show off your cowboy hat and your favorite boots while learning some country- style dances. This is a western weekend with some classic camp activities, too.

Do you want to feel more confident when meeting new people? Have you always wondered what all those forks are for at a restaurant? Learn the ins and outs of proper etiquette and social graces all while enjoying a four course meal.

Several species of turtles search the shores of Wamplers Lake to lay their eggs each year. Learn how to identify various species of turtles, collect & record data, properly harvest eggs from the nest, and help ensure a thriving turtle population.

Experience the magic of Camp O the Hills. Our trained staff will lead you through adventures such as archery, boating, BB guns, hiking, and sling shots. Troop Sampler is great for troops new to camping or for troops who just want to have fun without all the planning.

Come experience the magic of camp and uncover hidden treasure at Me and My Gal! A weekend full of exciting camp activities like archery, boating, rock wall climbing, and fire building will lead you to secret clues about Lindens long lost treasure. Will you be the first to find it? Campers can bring any adult female age 18 or older.

Have you ever wanted to attend a week at camp with your troop? Now is your chance! Girl Scouts and their troop leaders get to spend the entire week together enjoying camp activities. Participate in outdoor cooking, swimming, boating, archery, rock climbing, and more!
Note: All troops must have adult members in attendance, based on Girl Scout ratios. Camp staff do not stay in lodging with campers. Lodging is assigned based on size of troop and availability. All meals are provided.
Entering Grades K - 12th & Adults
Are you curious about what camp has to offer, but are not ready to stay overnight? Come spend the day exploring camp! You'll get to try a variety of activities including target sports, rock climbing, boating, and more!
Note: Campers should bring lunch.
Entering Grades 4th - 12th & Adults
Explore paddle sport opportunities. Canoes, kayaks, stand-up-boards, rowboats, and rafts. Learn proper paddle selections, hull designs, expedition gear, trip planning, and loading and handling of boats. Informative map, books, and internet sites will be shared. Are you planning a vacation, buying a boat, or just looking to enrich your adventures? Join us for informative and hands-on day with an experienced instructor.

Looking to come out with your troop or family and ride a horse? This is your opportunity! Trail rides are 1-hour long and participants must wear pants and closed toe shoes. Make a day of it and add on more activities! Emal our Reservations Team at reservations@gshom.org.
